2024 AWARENESS WEEK

Celebrated annually, Spinal CSF Leak Awareness Week aims to increase awareness of intracranial hypotension (IH) caused by spinal Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) leak and to incite improvement to access to diagnosis, treatment and care for all the sufferers from the condition.
We are trilled to announce that our event is also featured on the Calendar of health promotion days in Canada.
We were delighted to team up with the American Spinal CSF Leak foundation and the CSF Leak Association in the UK to give Spinal CSF Leak Awareness Week an international character. Throughout the week, we shared educational resources, personal stories and valuable insights from experts in the field. Together, we aim to tell the world about spinal CSF leaks and make a difference in the lives of those affected by this highly debilitating neurological condition that is often misdiagnosed or underdiagnosed due to lack of unfamiliarity among most physicians.
On June 3rd, the Calgary will be lighting up purple in recognition of spinal CSF leak Awareness Week.
On June 4th, City Hall in Newfoundland will be lit in purple for Spinal CSF Leak.
On June 6th, the CN Tower will be illuminated in purple in recognition of spinal CSF Leak Awareness Week.
