2023 AWARENESS WEEK

Celebrated annually, Spinal CSF Leak Awareness Week aims to increase awareness of Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension caused by a Cerebrospinal Fluid Leak and to incite improvement to access to diagnosis, treatment and care for the condition.

We are trilled to announce that our event is also featured on the Calendar of health promotion days in Canada.

Once again, we are delighted to be teaming up with Spinal CSF Leak foundation in the US and the CSF Leak Association in the UK to make Spinal CSF Leak Awareness Week international. Together, we aim to tell the world about spinal CSF leaks and make a difference in the lives of those affected.

Throughout the week, we will be sharing educational resources, personal stories and valuable insights from experts in the field. Join us in spreading the word about this often overlooked condition, and let's create a community of support and understanding.

Stay tuned for daily updates, informative posts, and ways to get involved. Together, we can make a significant impact and bring attention to spinal CSF leaks.

On June 6th, the #CN Tower will be illuminated in purple for Spinal CSF Leak Awareness Week. Thank you the @CNTower.

On June 7th, Government House will be glowing in purple. Thank you, Lieutenant Governor Judy M. Foot for your support.

On June 7th, the Confederation Building will be also lighting up purple in recognition of Spinal CSF Leak Awareness Week. Thank you the @Confederation Building.

On June 10th, Niagara Falls will be illuminated in purple at 10:45pm EST. for a fifteen (15) minutes duration. On behalf of everyone at Spinal CSF Leak Canada and our CSF leak community, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Niagara Falls illumination Board for their tribute and support of Spinal CSF Leak Awareness week.
