The Canadian SIH Conference, May 4, 2024, has been accredited for continuing medical education credit.

This comprehensive event will cover various aspects of diagnosis and management of Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension(SIH), and after active engagement in this program, participants will be better able to:

  • Identify clinical symptoms of SIH and applying that knowledge to make a clinical diagnosis of SIH.

  • Use appropriate Diagnostic Imaging to diagnose SIH.

  • Develop multiple approaches for treatment of SIH.

  • Recognize, diagnose, and treat post-dural puncture headache (PDPH).

  • Apply post-treatment management and prevent/manage complications of chronic SIH.

  • Describe the Canadian experience and apply research updates from national and international perspectives.

  • All participants (in-person and virtual) will have the opportunity to actively engage in discussions and spend time in active learning, including roundtable discussions and dedicated Q&A sessions following each section of the conference.
